Hi there!

I'm Marco Petersen, a twentysomething software engineer currently living in Tallinn, Estonia.

I work at Microsoft as part of the Media Delivery Network team, where I focus on the backend systems for live event streaming in Microsoft Teams. My role involves ensuring that video streams are served as reliably and efficiently as possible.

Before joining Microsoft, I worked at Bolt in Tallinn, Estonia, and HelloFresh and SensioLabs in Berlin, Germany. I was also a co-organizer of the Symfony User Group Berlin and have given several talks at various user groups.

Besides programming, other interests of mine include foreign languages, cooking and investing/personal finance (in no particular order).
